Cogito Ergo Sum

going to a beauty salon can be an excellent way to start afresh.

got my hair chopped and was relieved to feel the weight off my shoulders. my stylist rajkunar wasnt too happy with the prospect of snipping through what he thought we were beautiful thick hair...he kept reminding me that he'd taken off 2 inches already each time i'd insist on my hair being cut shorter.

then came the excruciating pain as the threading process began and the poor woman working on the canvas of my eyebrows complained that it had been obscenely long since i last dropped a visit. i couldnt care less...anything to delay the pain that ran right through my heart...clenched fists, tight jaws and some radio gaga to helo me through it...but the five to ten minutes were more than worth it...i have two beautifully shaped arches now and my eyes seem larger and more striking...i take about a minute to scrutinize whether any stubborn hair has been missed despite the skill in her art...more an act to prove that i'm not naive when it comes to matters of beauty so i'm not taken for a ride the next time round...

yes its a new dahsing me. i cant help perpetually staring at the mirror...while reaching out for my bag, paying the bill, even catching a glimpse of the arches in the rear-view mirror...such therapy i tell you!

the objective is to sport a different look...its sometimes a stimulus for internal change...
