there was a lot of talk about me being "unconventionally pretty " yesterday...it made me a little uncomfortable after a while. i really wonder what that means. the very fact that there is no convention for me as far as beauty goes made the above term just seem like a tactful euphemism...i found this one friend rather annoying when he started pointing out girls he thought were beautiful but not attractive...what was extremely bugging was that he thought he was being this brutally honest callous asshole while the whole time u could tell it was all contrived...some people are just bloody confused...

well the good news is...i'll be slipping back to the JNU mode of being!!!! i've missed it soo much...been craving for some intellectually stimulating lectures...want to devour every bit of knowledge offered to me...back to some regular things...i sometimes wonder whether this means that i prefer routine to change...but the internship had us all exhausted...it was a bit too loong which is good in a sense...we are all glad its over...no withdrawl symptoms...and there is no better way to unwind than drink chai in the forests of JNU even if it is in the humid August heat... or just sink into a little corner of the cateen and dive into some piece of literature...
